“ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਆਉਣਾ ਏ ਜੀਉਣ ਨੂਂ” ~ satindersartaaj 🌙✨ 
I had the absolute joy of taking my parents to the Satinder Sartaaj show at Rogers Arena — and to put it simply, it was incredible. My parents have always been huge fans of his art, especially my dad, who’s been hoping to see him live for years. And you know how it is with immigrant parents - they give endlessly, but rarely take the time to receive, to pause, or to truly treat themselves. So this year, when I saw Satinder Sartaaj announce his tour, I didn’t think twice. I grabbed the tickets right away, knowing that moments like these are once-in-a-lifetime. As Sartaaj beautifully puts it: 
“ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਆਉਣਾ ਏ ਜੀਉਣ ਨੂਂ…” 
“We only get this one life, one chance to live fully, to love deeply, to create memories that stay with us forever.” Watching my parents smile, sway, and sing along, I knew this memory would be one of those forever ones.
