What an incredible day at KPU! Today I was fortunate to host an event called, “Breaking Stereotypes: International Students & Gang Awareness.” This event was an important event as it shed light on topics that are important to have discussions about. We discussed gang issues within the community, stereotypes regarding international students involved in crime, and ways for students to get involved within law enforcement. Special thank you to Sergeant jag.khosa, whose 17 years of law enforcement experience provided invaluable insights into gang awareness, international student stereotypes, and ways to get involved in policing. Your presence and expertise were truly inspiring and appreciated. Thank you to everyone who joined us today and helped shed light on these important topics.
