Just an Ulta trip to most people. A milestone for me. After my stroke, moments like this remind me how far I’ve come. Living with a brain injury can be challenging and limiting. I typically no longer shop in stores because of how difficult it may be. But my 3-year-old daughter wanted to go on an adventure with mommy so rather than having my ordered delivered to my home, I decided to take her shopping with me! This was extremely overstimulating and challenging but I’m so glad we were able to share this moment together.
