They say you don’t truly know someone until things go wrong. Well, yesterday, things went “wrong” to the tune of a 14 hour delay at sea. 🌫️⚓️ We were supposed to disembark at 8:30 AM. But Mother Nature had other plans. By 10 AM, we were out of our rooms, luggage in hand, stuck in the transition period where the “vacation” is technically over. That’s usually where the frustration starts. But what I witnessed yesterday is something I will never forget. I watched the @TheSavannahBananas players, coaches, and staff … people who had spent an entire week exhausting themselves to entertain us … step up when they had every right to clock out. 💛 This is what TRUE character looks like. It’s @yellowtuxjesse, @emcole3 and the crew immediately pivoting to build a whole new schedule of events from scratch so we weren’t just “waiting,” we were living.
