I’ve been so scared to post this ~ because for the first time ever, I wrote something with zero intention of releasing it or posting it. This one was just for us and for this moment ✨ When I watch it back I get so critical about my vocals, not hitting the right keys all the time… but that’s not what this moment was about. This moment was about healing for all of us. My dad was so important to Warren, and I wanted to recognise how special their relationship was and that they will both always be the most incredible men in my life, how lucky am I? Also… Warren doesn’t love pop and prefers country music, so I guess I was trying to finally write a song that he loves 🤣🤣 (kidding) I wanted to share this here to hopefully show others that it’s okay to be vulnerable and it’s okay not to post the most perfect version of yourself.
