Recently, I was in Detroit, where I spent the weekend at the supportblackownedmedia’s BOMESI Summit, surrounded by some of the dopest minds in Black-owned media. Let me tell you, to be in a room with so much power, purpose, and possibility was truly amazing! I walked in with a vision for where I want to take podhubplus and left with confirmation that not only is there space for us at the table, we are the table! Conversations around ad equity, culture-driven content, and scaling Black media left me both inspired and challenged in the best way. Shoutout to the devonisbleu, neshasagenda and the entire BOMESI team for curating such an intentional experience. And shout out to my guy parlewithme for looking out for a brother while I was there.
