tells a little bit about my mental health journey but most importantly may helpful someone else trying to navigate a very complicated disorder
when i feel an episode coming on, one of the hardest things to practice is acceptance. having bipolar disorder means we only visit stability/normalcy but never actually live there. so when you have to leave its almost as painful as the episode itself. very disheartening. but catastrophizing doesn’t help
im pretty in tune with my body so i can notice the changes/shift. reaching out to my psychiatrist and therapist is important because they can be aware and be apart of my team for the game plan
