I’m here to protect ALL patients, but ESPECIALLY vulnerable populations: disabled (including invisible disabilities) Veterans, Black, indigenous, people of color, women, trans, elderly. . I’m on the patient’s side until proven otherwise. . I simply won’t participate in pinning the problem on the patient and labeling them as “difficult” “confused” “aggressive” “uncooperative” etc. . I’ll never waver when it comes to patient-centered care. Ever. .
