📚Recap of my 1st year in Medical School 🏥
I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I joined Medical school...it honestly feels like I’ve aged 10 years since. But don’t get me wrong, as much as I suffered, it’ll probably be the year I’ll miss the most throughout my whole medical journey. I’ll miss the feeling of everyone being just as lost as I was at first, but then realising how fun anatomy actually is. Things have a way of figuring themselves out, which is why I’m here to share all the tips I wish I knew before I started medicine!💉💗👩🏽⚕️
1️⃣ Every person (and every subject) has their own unique study method, its completely okay to spend the first couple months figuring that out. 📘💊
2️⃣ Do not bombard yourself with too many resources, it’s overwhelming and inefficient. 👎🏻
3️⃣ Speaking of resources, ANKI is a lifesaver. It’s a computer program that helps people learn and remember information using digital flashcards.
