Did a little wet on dry, wet on wet, and dabbing the brush on wet surface to see how the color spreads. I only have wonderful things to say about the @cansonpaper Montval from @pulpandpigmentph: • It gracefully absorbs the water so when I add the color in, it spreads smoothly • There’s minimal buckling, even when I added loads of water for the larger artwork • It’s 300gsm so it provides the “stability” I need when adding more water • It allows me to soften colors and smoothen edges easily while the paper is still wet • I can also easily lift the colors once the surface is dry using a “regular” brush.
