Two of my favorite subjects-the sparrow and the bougainvillea ♥️ I had to make a conscious effort not to go back to this page and add contrast. I have this constant dilemma… I’ll start out thinking I’d make a “soft” piece. Something that will give a sense of calm. Then I’d end up with dark contrasts and more shadows than I’ve initially planned. It’s not all bad when that happens. Contrasts and shadows add depth and a bit of drama.
