How consumed are you by AI? Or have you noticed not all your friends are constantly thinking of AI? I realized I literally live in the AI bubble, mostly by virtue of working in tech and being in the SF Bay Area. Prior to moving out of New York 6 months ago, AI was not the center of my world. Now that I’m in SF, I realized the environment that you’re in really shapes how you interact with and think of AI. Living in SF definitely makes me feel some sort of AI fomo if I’m not involved, but being back in NY and talking to my non-tech industry friends made me realize that AI is really not at the forefront of a lot of people’s minds. It’s frightening, yet refreshing.
