Noticed that the head was too round, so I started making corrections. Which led me to a moment of appreciation of how the use of right materials and tools can allow me to make changes on the artwork so I am happy with the outcome. The “ugly phase” in watercolor is real. That plus my imperfect applications can ruin my day if I stopped when what I see in front of me is far from how I want it to look.
