I’m glad I did this because I got to appreciate myself more as an artist. What’s the opposite term for impostor syndrome? Because that’s exactly what happened to me this July. Oftentimes, I paint and I enjoy the process but I also criticize myself and my art. Which is not entirely bad. Critique is good for growth. But being able to see yourself through your art and feel good is nurturing for the soul. It made my heart smile.
