solo travel with me from Stanley to Carcass Island in the Falkland Islands! 🦅🦭🐧 how to get here? you have to fly FIGAS, which is basically a tiny bush plane service. There’s no set schedule; they literally just call your lodge the night before to tell you what time they’re picking you up. It’s so old school. ✈️ Usually, the flight is about 50 minutes, but the Falklands weather was doing its thing today, so it took us 1.5 hours in the rain and wind. ☁️💨 why visit? the wildlife! the alone time! it is one of the few places with no rats or cats, so the birds and penguins have zero fear. they just waddle right up to you! 😳 can’t wait to show you what I got up to here! ✨ #solotravel #falklandislands #travelwithme #femalesolotraveler #carcassisland
