I will never turn my back on you. You brought me back from the dead when I was a child. You gave me breath when my body gave up on me. You gave me strength to become a man when my mom, sister and I were on our own. You gave me bravery to chase my dreams and overcome every obstacle in my way. You saved me from addiction, torment, shame, regret and fear. You were my guiding light and woke me up with your word. I now know that I do not have to search, because you are with me. I know what following you means, I know the judgment that comes with it, but I am ready to fully submit. You rose from the grave, and fulfilled your promise, and I will do the same. Thank you for going on the cross for us, thank you for showing us the way. I’ll follow you until my last breath. I am yours.
