PS consulting is definitely *not* the only place where you can learn these skills :) It was great for me though because 1) consulting hires fresh undergrads & trains from scratch, 2) work is very fast-paced, so you practice a lot more, 3) learn via exposure from honestly very high-caliber people at the firm (& on client side), 4) work itself touches on many topics & industries and pushes holistic skills (analytical & soft; vs. some other roles may lean too much towards one or the other) Downsides are — as you might already know — very intense hours, tight time pressures = constant stress & multi-tasking, a lot of extra work, client / senior demands could turn your world around, so on 😅 pros & cons to everything! #careeradvice #consulting #womeninbusiness #corporategirlie #bcg #mckinsey #bain #mbbconsulting #big4 #consultinglife #managementconsulting #jobsearch
