Its official! God has blessed me to open the doors to my 2nd Bookstore. After closing the doors to my beloved Brown Sugar Cafe' & Books 2 years ago, I took the time learn as much as I could to be better, learn more, & become a true champion for all things in the literary arts... I am proud of what i've been able to accomplish never losing sight of the dream even while enduring some of my darkest times, Im grateful for those who've " stayed with me" encouraged me and never stopped believing in me or my vision. That vision is to curate spaces where people can go to feel seen, heard & at home, I wanted to create community based off the love of books, art , music and of course storytelling. Books saved my life. Shaped my future, & changed the entire trajectory of my life and for that ill always have a love affair with them..
