It’s almost 2026 and time to LEVEL UP! I improved my cloud security skills way faster than I expected, and getting AZ-500, SC-200, and SC-100 in 2 months came down to 5 things: 1. Hands-on > theory. Azure only makes sense when you use it. Build a mini lab, turn on logs, break things, fix things. Once you see logs + alerts in action, it all becomes real. 2. Treat Azure like one connected security story: Identity = access Logging = visibility Policies = behaviour Defender = protection This framework changed everything for me. 3. Take notes like an architect, not a student. Don’t write paragraphs… write decisions: “When would I use this?” “What problem does it solve?” “What log proves it happened?” 4. Book the exam before you study. Deadlines create discipline. The moment the date was booked, my consistency went up instantly. 5. Focus on the security basics that matter the most: – Entra ID fundamentals – Conditional Access – Diagnostic logs – Defender alerts – Sentinel + KQL basics...
