The most private phone I own 🤩 I’ve been testing the Up Phone as a privacy-first device for the past month… so far my findings are so good!! Here’s what stands out from a technical + everyday perspective: 💡Removable battery = true shutdown Pull the battery and there’s no low-power chip still tracking location or maintaining Bluetooth/cellular handshakes. No digital breadcrumbs. A level of “off” that modern phones don’t really give anymore. 💡Physical kill-switches matter Camera, mic, cellular, Wi-Fi. When you disconnect at the hardware level, the OS or a compromised app can’t override your decision. It’s a tangible safety net. 💡The OS isn’t built around surveillance No Google Play Services. No Apple-style cloud identifiers. No pre-installed tracking SDKs. No personalised ad ecosystems. The default behaviour is: not collecting anything. 💡Strict network permissioning Apps can’t talk to the outside world without consent. That removes the “mystery traffic” problem you see on norm...
