Meet Charles O. Parks III, aka “CP3O.” He claimed to be a crypto influencer and branded himself as a digital millionaire. But behind the scenes? He was lying to major cloud providers, using fake companies like “MultiMillionaire LLC” to access millions in free cloud services…
…not to run a startup, but to mine crypto.
Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, mined using stolen compute power. Then he bragged online, saying:
“I made 7 figures in 10 days… I didn’t work the rest of the year.”
But law enforcement caught on. He was charged with wire fraud, had to forfeit $500K and a luxury Mercedes, and is now a convicted felon.
This is cloud cryptojacking, and it’s a growing cybercrime trend where criminals abuse YOUR cloud infrastructure to get rich.
