The remote-work routine that keeps my career running — even when I’m across the world visiting my family in Denmark.
As a B2B marketer, community founder, and creator, working abroad takes intention, structure, and a lot of prioritization.
Here’s the ~rough~ routine that helps me stay grounded and still make the most of my time in Copenhagen:
9–12/1 → deep work
Morning walks + pastries
1–3 → lunch + explore
3–6 → meetings
6–10 → dinner, drinks (Responding to
@slackhq on my phone when needed)
10–11 → end-of-day check-in
Of course my first choice would be to not work when I travel to see them, but bc I only get 15 days PTO, this is how I manage (especially as a marketer during the holidays!!)
A reminder that: you can design a career that supports your life — not the other way around.
Remote work, family time, and a full career can coexist with the right routine ✨
