Student Spotlight: James Duiven ⭐️ “Hey everyone! My name is James Duiven and I’m a second year student at GRCC and I just joined the Honors Program this year. I’m majoring in Music and Entertainment Business, and I plan to follow up my time at GRCC by attending Ferris State University. I’m in a number of student ensembles on campus like Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble, but you might see me lend a hand at a couple of other concerts throughout the semester. I love listening to music and reading books, often books about music, and going to the Quiet Cafe to get a vanilla iced latte with oat milk. Fun fact: My favorite song is “Everybody Wants to Rule The World” by Tears For Fears.
