They say “times are changing” but when I started orthodontics training 10 years ago and even today it’s still very much a boys club. Girls were not invited to the table where the jobs were, the clinics were sold, the stage was given. The fact is female doctors worked hard to get to where they are and they will be the ones to care about you, your life, the 0.5 millimetre movement of your front tooth.
