I know my last post triggered so many people about unjustifiable dress code in Padmanabhaswamy temple but honestly, the dress code did throw me off a bit at first- it kind of disturbed my vibe outside. But the moment I stepped inside the temple, everything changed. I was completely mesmerised- not by the surroundings, but by the breathtaking statue of Lord Vishnu. But I still stand by what I said earlier. It’s not comfortable for women to see men like that!
Anyways, but lord Vishnu’s statue truly felt like His divine presence was right there, blessing everyone who entered. I closed my eyes and silently offered my tribute- not just to the Lord, but also to the incredible artist who carved such a living form out of stone. 🤌🤩
About the dress code — I personally don’t mind wearing a saree, but I do feel uncomfortable seeing men go shirtless in such a sacred and divine space. It just doesn’t feel right.
