Look at where my creativity took me! I’m presenting at one of the biggest events at my university @umassboston as the creative-scholar-activist that I AM 🥳🥹 When I took a break from my PhD program to focus on my creativity, I was scared, but I came back this year to finish my doctoral degree fully showing up as my full self. Last month, I was contracted as a creativity consultant to help put together the 5th Annual Black Lives Matter Day at @umassboston and of course my strategy was to use my skills and network to bring creativity to academia to inspire students on their journey. I was at every meeting advocating for young professionals who use their artistry to make changes in their community.
