Look at where my creativity took me! I’m presenting at one of the biggest events at my university umassboston as the creative-scholar-activist that I AM 🥳🥹 When I took a break from my PhD program to focus on my creativity, I was scared, but I came back this year to finish my doctoral degree fully showing up as my full self. Last month, I was contracted as a creativity consultant to help put together the 5th Annual Black Lives Matter Day at umassboston and of course my strategy was to use my skills and network to bring creativity to academia to inspire students on their journey. I was at every meeting advocating for young professionals who use their artistry to make changes in their community.
