Trying to move house in 2024 was crazy. Crazy stressful. The house buying process in England is ridiculous, you can pull out at any time without penalty and ruin everyone else's plans. And having to rely on others for your move to actually happen drove me up the wall! Our solicitors and estate agent were great but getting everyone else in the chain to do their part was so frustrating!! Anyone else buy a house recently? Can anyone beat 519 days? That is the number of days between when we first booked to view a house (spoiler, it sold before we could view it - the first thing to go wrong) and the day we completed.
