Bird box rescue! Or so I thought - there was a nest that had fallen out. Looks like it was actually a bat box due to the bottom entry. Don't worry - I contacted the council and wildlife trust who look after this woodland and they didn't mind me repairing it as it was an old one that they weren't tracking.
