I turned 3️⃣6️⃣?! 🤯Can we just call it Thirty-Fine? But seriously, 2 days ago I celebrated my 36th birthday.. and WHOA.. how did I get here? EYE can’t even believe it’s my 36th trip around the sun. And even tho I’m against it, I admit I started getting a lil of that “omg how am i this damn old?!” energy. But I’ve had beautiful ppl remind me of a few key things: ✅ getting older is a blessing. And an incredible privilege that many ppl dont get to experience— especially ppl with my background and/or identity. ✅ not many of us make it this far all alone - so aging is a chance to look around and be grateful for the (chosen) family and friends who have helped us evolve into the person we are today. ✅ and finally, even tho my KNEES, ANKLES, and joints may say 36 .. this body and face defff don’t!
