You should never underestimate the impact that constipation can have on a child’s ability to learn to use the toilet but also the impact the constipation can have on the childs everyday life and that of the parents too. Constipation needs to be managed individually for each child, follow-up is key so that parents understand what the process is, how medication’s affect their child’s poo but also the other things that can impact constipation. Treatment for constipation is never linear and it is something that needs to be managed long-term. I don’t share feedback to big myself up or blow my own trumpet but to show you that there is hope with your child’s constipation and/or toileting issue.
