Trusting God doesn’t come without fear, I’m sorry, it just doesn’t. We’re human. We feel the unknown, we carry the “what ifs.”
But just because fear is present doesn’t mean it gets to lead.
Scripture even shows us this in Philippians 4:6–7 not to be anxious, but to bring everything to God, and His peace will guard our hearts and minds. It doesn’t say you’ll never feel anxious, it shows you what to do when you are. Bring it to Him, and peace meets you right there in the middle of it ❤️🩹
And Psalms 56:3 says, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.” Not if, when!! 🤍
Fear may show up, but it doesn’t get the final say 🙌🏼. I’m learning that fear and peace can coexist. In one hand, I feel the fear, and in the other, I grip tightly to peace. Not because I have answers, but because I’m tied to the Father who does 🤍
So I’ll still step, I’ll still trust, I’ll still seek first His kingdom, and whatever comes, I know this, I will have gained more of Him. 🤍
