'Archetype'
Each of these figures is a fragment of one being...an ongoing attempt to define itself through the ruins of memory and material. Metal, wire, rust, cloth: all salvaged remnants of an earlier version.
Every reconstruction remembers something the last one forgot. Diffusing itself over and over.
They aren’t machines or humans exactly, but experiments in identity...each iteration carrying the quiet persistence of wanting to be. Maybe this is what it means to evolve: to keep building yourself from what remains, to keep finding shape in the fragments.
I don’t think they’re separate portraits. I believe they are the same soul, dreaming itself into existence, piece by piece. Over and over again.
