“Waiting for Colour to Return” It’s been a minute. But like these two, patiently sitting on the edge of some vaguely familiar street, I’ve been watching, waiting…and tinkering. I’ve been experimenting with a new woodcut-style diffusion model (or ten), layering it with fragments of old-time collage textures from another model. The result feels somewhere between printmaking and memory...wobbly, tactile, and a little melancholic in the best way. It's designed for a graphic novel...more on that soon.
