Transtibial amputee @starfishtara had her right leg shattered, left leg destroyed & her neck separated from her head internally after a car accident — injuries that for 99% of people who obtain them, lead to paralysis or death. Tara however didn’t just come back from these injuries, she came back better than ever! She became one of only 40% of climbers to successfully summit Mt. Kilimanjaro, as well as Mt. Whitney and myriad of marathons & triathlons since then. 💪 Her next challenge is the 41st annual #EmpireStateBuilding Run-Up Presented by @turkishairlines​, Powered by the @cafoundation​. She’ll be joined by her brother @b_butch, a fellow single-leg amputee from a life-changing accident.
