No one prepares you for the moment you have to say goodbye to your family pet. 💔 Our sweet Lola went to heaven 2 nights ago. I always thought it was silly when people treated their pets like humans but it wasn’t until we lost her suddenly, that I realized I was so wrong. My kids lost their best friend…and it feels like we lost a child. She was the smartest, sweetest, greatest dog there ever was and we will miss her forever. Our home will never feel the same. As much as it hurts, we are thankful she is no longer in pain and are grateful for the time we had with her. She was the biggest blessing and favorite part of our children’s childhood.
