In the thick of week 2 and still so emotional with how much has changed. I remember counting down the days until they were all in school so I could have my so called “life back”, but now that the house is quiet it’s never felt emptier and I’ve never been more excited for the moment they’re back in my arms. I’m finally able to work FT again and find a sense of fulfillment & purpose in things outside of motherhood…but home will always be with them.
