We launched our full menu this past Thursday. One of our vegan items is this beauty called Isla verde, is a layer of mofongo, Honduran coconut rice & beans, then crowned with vegan carne frita, drizzled with chimi aioli sauce. When making this dish I was trying to figure out different protein options that reminded me of home, fried pork chunks was one that was served with mofongo, being able to create a plant based was a bit challenging because yall know if I dont like it, it is not going on the menu. I think I nailed this one. Don't forget today Saturday we open from 5pm till 10pm, you can reserve online, walk-ins are welcome but we highly recommend rsvp.
