We first met and dated at 18, but God knew we still had a lot of growing to do. Fast forward to 24…we reconnected and built a friendship-first foundation that changed everything. He helped me leave a toxic relationship, and together we stepped into church to turn our lives around. It was at that same church, in front of our family and friends, that he proposed. With a small budget and a whole lot of love, we planned a completely DIY wedding on the beach in Santa Barbara with the help of our amazing family and friends.
