“I wish I knew this sooner.”
So many of you said that in my recent perimenopause post and I hear you.
But I want to name something first. You see the glam in this clip, the confidence. And yes that was real that day.
But so are the days I have nothing. The mornings my body feels like a stranger and my spirit feels heavy for reasons I can’t explain. That’s perimenopause too. And she doesn’t care about your aesthetic.
So don’t compare your raw truth to anyone’s best angle. And don’t compare your timeline of knowing to another woman’s. God doesn’t do late. He does it on time.
This season broke me open spiritually in ways I wasn’t ready for. It taught me that rest is holy. That boundaries are obedience. That the slowing down I was fighting was actually God saying “I don’t need your performance. I need your presence.”
Your love after that video moved me.
So let me give back with a few things helping me navigate this season:
🛌Protect your sleep like it’s sacred: magnesium, no screen...
