Must‑Follow Steps to Demat Physical Shares (per SEBI Circular)
✅ Step 1 – Update KYC, PAN & Nomination
As per Para 19.2 of SEBI Master Circular No. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/POD‑1/P/CIR/2024/37 (dated May 7, 2024), physical shareholders must update PAN, KYC details, bank info, and nomination to lodge grievances or avail any RTA services such as demat conversion. Without this, no dividend or service can be processed from April 1, 2024 onward .
📄 Step 2 – Prepare Required Documents:
• Form ISR‑1 (KYC + bank + contact + PAN)
• Form ISR‑2 (Signature verification)
• Form SH‑13 (Nomination) or ISR‑3 (to opt out)
• Self‑attested copies of PAN and Aadhaar
• Cancelled cheque with name printed (or copy of passbook/bank statement)
📦 Step 3 – Submit to Your Company’s Registrar & Transfer Agent (RTA)
