I turned 39 on Wednesday, and it hit me—this is the last year of my 30s! 🫣 What’s one thing I must do before 40? A trip? A challenge? A moment of indulgence? If there’s one thing about me—it’s that birthdays always make me reflective. I naturally start measuring how far I’ve come, what goals I’ve hit, and—more often than not—the ones I haven’t. But if my 30s have taught me anything, it’s that life rarely goes according to plan. I’ve learned (shoutout to therapy) that tying my joy to outcomes only leads to frustration because most of life is spent in process. So this year, I’m choosing to find joy now—in the waiting, the evolving, the becoming.
