On Oct 8th, 2025 I took Apollo to the vet after he started displaying lethargy and wasn’t eating; that day my entire world shifted as he was “pre-diagnosed” with lymphoma - the vet said he was 98% sure. Monday, Oct 13th was our first visit to the oncologist where they said it was either lymphoma or leukemia… either way, not great options and both terminal in dogs. Friday, Oct 17th it was confirmed my boy had acute leukemia. “The bad one” as the oncologist put it. Before his first appt I saw my active doggo start to shut down, not eat, not play, and look at me with sadness in his eyes. Since we got him on treatment however, I’ve gotten my doggo back. ♥️ he’s running, playing, catching his frisbee, cuddling and wolfing down food like a family of 3 teenage boys. I’m so grateful for you, Apollo. For this extra time. For you rebounding and more time that I get with you being you. Lord, thank you. I pray you continue to heal his body inside and out.
