The happiest boy in Autumn š§” š
Without a miracle, this will be my last Fall season with my baby boy, Apollo. As I type that, I donāt want to believe it, I donāt want to write it, I donāt even want to think about it but part of getting a diagnosis like this is you get to grieve while your dog is still alive. Itās brutal, itās unfair, but so is losing them all of a sudden with no warning.
No matter what, itās not easy. Itās not something you want to go through, itās unfortunately just a part of life on earth.
So you start to remember all the good times youāve had, you start to grieve all the moments and times in your life you havenāt had yet - I truly envisioned Apollo living til 16 and meeting my kid(s). I pictured him loving on them and protecting them. Growing old as they are young. Being by my side until it was time to say goodbye.
