Many aren’t aware that a large majority, 142 in fact, of first-class passengers boarded the Titanic in Cherbourg, France, via the SS Nomadic, a White Star Line ship that has survived the century and is now permanently back where she was built, in Belfast. The very same place where the Titanic was also built before embarking on her doomed first voyage.
