This would have been the last normal night in Los Angeles in 1942…. because what would happen in the early morning hours are still confusing historians to this day. One of the greatest mysteries to ever happen in LA and during the entirety of WWII, happened on this day at Fort MacArthur in San Pedro, in 1942. What transpired that night has given way to the most out there theories, including my favorite - aliens. 👽🛸 It is an event that has divided opinions between military personnel, WWII enthusiasts, and even the government. The only thing we know for certain is that many people, not just the people on duty that night, saw aircraft in the sky, and because of that, five civilians perished.
