Today I finally went for my long-awaited eye checkup, and let me tell you… I was not ready for the news I got 😅. My plan was simple ,just change my frames because my lenses had broken. Easy, right? Well, turns out life had other plans for me. After the test, the examiner told me I have something called lazy eye (the medical term is amblyopia) 👀. It’s a condition where one eye is weaker because it didn’t develop normal vision during childhood. Basically, my right eye has been chilling all these years while my left eye has been doing most of the work. Both places I went to even recommended that I see an ophthalmologist for a more detailed checkup and possible treatment options. Honestly, I was shocked because I had never noticed anything wrong I thought my vision issues were just from needing new lenses.
