Welcome to the Dumas Brothel of Butte, MT, the one place in the nation with the distinct honor of saying it operated longer than any other house of ill repute. From 1890-1982, this single brothel was a living, throbbing display of the socioeconomic diversity of the city. Not just in their male population, but their women.
