Want a truly unique, slightly macabre, possibly haunted, and very local drinking experience whilst in Dublin? Then you have to have a pint at John Kavanagh’s, aka - the Gravedigger’s pub - gravediggers2 Opened in 1833 and located *directly* next door to the capital’s largest cemetery, Glasnevin, this was the drinking spot of gravediggers after a long shift of well, digging graves. It should come as no surprise, given its proximity to death, that it is allegedly haunted. But don’t think a couple of ghosts could keep away the Irish from their beloved pint of Guinness , this little pub remains one of northern Dublin’s favorite watering holes for locals, and if I’m honest, one of mine too. . . #dublin #guinnesspartner #atlasobscura #dublinhiddengems #spookytravel #travelblogger #LAhistorygirl #history #glasnevincemetery #gravediggerspub #guinnesslover #visitireland #tourismireland #visitdublin #taphophile #titanichistory Best Pubs in Dublin, Hidden Gems in Dublin, Spooky Travel, Haunte...
