#POV: A #PhD is not for everyone but I am certain it is right for me. I want to be able to answer big and important societal questions like: * How does handheld #technology transform daily human behavior, social interactions, and personal identity? OR * How can we measure and optimize the synergy between human judgment and #AI capabilities in decision-making processes, particularly in non-technical professional environments? Why a PhD? A ph.D provides guidance and provides the techniques, theories, and research methods to address societal issues and create technologies that impact society.
