Interviewing @meta [part 1] •• Today is the day, I have my first interview at @meta for a Product manager positions. This is an analytical interview, meaning I will need to be able to set goals and quantifiable metrics for how we would measure the success of a product.. These tech interviews are notoriously long and difficult and I’ve learned that frameworks can help you turn any problem into a solution I just have to Remember to: 1. Ask Clarifying Questions: 2. Pause and think through the problem using a framework. Frameworks like: * GAME: Goals, Actions, Metrics and Evaluation * AARM: where I asses the difference between Acquisition, Activation, Retention and Monetization. * Later I’ll use a diagnostic checklist to assess a metric change. 3. Justify my decision making using a logic tree. There are 5 rounds of interviews and this just the beginning, but I determined to try my best . What is it like to interview at a large tech company?
